Zig-Zag House Practical Completion
It is with great satisfaction that we can announce Zig-Zag House has achieved Practical Completion.
With exception of the sawtooth façade, there has been zero footprint growth. This project is therefore representative of the creative adaptation of existing spaces and it is incredible to witness the dramatic change that has taken place, when comparing the existing building with what has now been constructed.
As a collective, we have fundamentally altered the DNA of this dwelling. The building now performs on a multitude of levels, presenting spaces for living, playing, entertaining and working.
This project has been a huge success and we thank the entirety of the Project Team for their respective contributions.
At the centre of this project is the Client. Beyond being the generator of this scheme, the Client has taken active engagement from start to finish, understood the value of design, ensured the quality of the original design has been upheld, made financial sacrifices to ensure the design has not been eroded, lived on site for the duration of the construction works and introduced their own interior design skills to finish the spaces off beautifully.
We extend a special thank you to the Client for being such a joy to work with and for the opportunity to support them with this project.
