9RL//MH Manor House - Bishop’s Tachbrook
Sector: Residential
Location: Bishop’s Tachbrook
Contract Value: £150,000
Description: Manor House is a Grade-II Listed Building sitting within the designated Bishop’s Tachbrook Conservation Area. The original dwelling was constructed during 1558. This is the most significant building within the conservation area and was occupied by the famous poet Walter Savage Landor. Unity Architects was the third practice to be appointed upon this scheme and this is a fact we are really proud of, as we were able to satisfy the client’s requirements whilst balancing them with Warwick District Council’s heritage considerations. A beautifully crafted glass extension, revealing the original facades of the 1558 dwelling and enabling spectacular views of the extensive grounds.
Statutory Consents: Planning approved. Building Control granted.
